Nova Power Cable: Reference-Grade Material Execution
Nova takes Flare’s proven BCM geometry and executes it with upgraded conductor materials optimized for RF performance and transient response.
Same Proven Construction: Identical geometric BCM architecture as Flare, three individually shielded conductors in controlled relationship, steel braid magnetic shielding, precision machine manufacturing. The RF cancellation mechanism is unchanged.
Material Optimization: Nova employs reference-grade conductors specifically selected for superior performance at RF frequencies and during transient current delivery. At the frequencies where equipment generates contamination (100 kHz – 10 MHz) and during microsecond-domain transients, conductor material properties become audible.
The Difference You’ll Hear:
Nova refines what Flare achieves:
Micro-Dynamic Resolution: The noise floor drops another increment. Low-level detail—hall reflections, instrument body resonances, breath sounds, becomes more clearly resolved. Not louder, just more present.
Transient Clarity: Attack transients, piano hammers, plucked strings, percussion strikes—arrive with slightly sharper leading edges. Less electronic rounding of transient events. This manifests as improved sense of speed and articulation.
Tonal Purity: Instrumental timbres sound marginally more accurate, less electronic character, more acoustic truth. The difference between a Steinway and a Bösendorfer becomes more obvious. Strings have more textural reality.
Spatial Refinement: Soundstage gains additional depth layers and more precise image placement. Front-to-back perspective improves. The sense of instruments existing in three-dimensional space increases.
Background Silence: The electronic “grain” that sits behind music with Flare diminishes further. Music emerges from deeper silence.
