Construction-wise, the Supernova cable features a 3D printed skeleton consisting of 137 individually 3D printed parts, meticulously assembled within a 1.5-meter cable. Sixteen wires, over 90% in air, are twisted once every 4 inches. The assembly is protected by Techflex Flexo® PET cable sleeving, available in standard colors of black and white. Power cables are always assembled with three separate connections (live, neutral, and ground). Supernova contains eight live wires on the inside, eight neutral wires on the outside, and the ground wire runs through the middle. Supernova is assembled with a PVC-insulated ground wire, enamel-insulated neutral wire, and the live wire comes with three options: enamel-insulated copper wire, bare copper wire, and bare silver wire. These three options offer slightly different levels of microdynamic detail, with bare copper providing more than enamel-insulated copper and bare silver offering the most performance benefit.
